Academic Work Experiences

2021 December –
Assistant Professor (NT) at University of Trieste – Department of Chemical and Pharmaceutical Sciences – Italy
Scientific Disciplinary Sector ID (SSD): CHIM/12 (Environmental Chemistry and Chemistry for Cultural Heritage), SC 03A1.

2021 April – 2021 November
Postdoctoral Researcher Fellow at Fudan University – Department of Physics – China
Integration of energy input from gravitational waves into particle, nuclear, and molecular interaction. In particular, the aim of the project is to re-solve the basic theories of chemical thermodynamics and kinetics into the frame of the general theory of relativity and in the presence of high gravitational field. At the same time a parallel project from a previous collaboration about fragile topological materials and
artificial intelligence has been carried out.

2019 April – 2021 March
Postdoctoral Researcher at Aix-Marseille Université – Institut de Chimie Radicalaire, Marseille – France
Preparation of polymeric materials with radicals and biradicals via Supercritical Fluid Impregnation and enhanced characterization of functional organic materials by solid-state NMR using dynamic nuclear polarization (DNP).

2018 April – 2020 March
Postdoctoral Researcher at Peking University – College of Environmental Sciences and Engineering and Beijing Innovation Center for Engineering, Science and Advanced Technology (BIC-ESAT), Beijing – China
Development of new methods for the synthesis of doped and non-doped aerographene-based nanomaterials using Supercritical Fluid Extraction and Supercritical Fluid Impregnation and their photocatalitic applications in atmospheric pollution cleaning.

2018 January – 2019 January
Honorary Research Fellow and founding member of the University of South Florida “Center of Food and Wine History”.
Development of new analytical methods for the analysis of archaeological organic food residues and their recognition. The research is devoted in particular to the study of the paleo-diet, disease and infections in the Mediterranean area.
Co-P.I of the research line “Dietary habits of prehistoric Mediterranean civilizations”.
